My Barbie Dream House

I recently went home to Mississippi to visit my mom. While I was there I decided to get my Barbie Dream House and some of my Barbies. I was very excited to see that the house was still in very good condition even after being in my grandmother's attic for almost 20 years. Most all of the windows were still attached and it wasn't warped or too badly faded. I don't remember how old I was when I got this house, but I remember it was one Christmas. This house brought back so many memories...good and happy ones. I remember my daddy always putting my toys together for me as soon as I would open them. I think he was excited about them as I was...even though he tried not to show it. I am so glad that, as a kid, I decided to keep these things. I'm also glad that I kept such good care of them. I hope that one day I have children and they do the same. They may not appreciate these things as much as I do, but at least I will have my memories!
