Hello loved ones!
We hope you are all having a wonderful week!
We just wanted to give you an update on our lives.
David is enjoying his new job very much. In his own words, "I like it better than I thought I was going to!" It is so wonderful to see him come home everyday with a smile on his face and want to go back to work the next day! We are praising God for that!!!! Thank you so much for praying for us!!!
The other wonderful news is that we are on our way to being parents! David and I have been called to go through the adoption process. We have decided to adopt domestic this time. (Maybe International next time!) We have turned in our initial paperwork, passed our first background checks, and have been assigned a social worker.
Because of our adoption choice, we could have a baby in 18 months or less!
We know that this is just the first step in bringing home our child, but we are so excited!
I tried to explain to some of my friends at work that this is my "I'm pregnant!" I don't get to have the opportunity to grow a baby in utero, but God is giving me the opportunity to grow a baby in my heart! I hope that you will celebrate with us and pray with us through this journey!
Love you all!

I am shedding tears of JOY for you!! Congratulations!!! I can't wait to read and hear more!!!
I'm sorry I am late in reading this and sending congratulations! Friends of ours just welcomed their new baby home - a domestic adoption through Lifeline. It is amazing to see how God brought their family together. I look forward to seeing your baby come home soon too!
Love, Megan Shirley
Well, you are ABSOLUTELY "expecting!" God is so good! In His marvelous way, He will bring your family together. Just as we are adopted into His family, so you are being given the wonderful gift to do so yourselves.
Congratulations!
Jennifer, that is really exciting.. Congratulations... Adoption is so beautiful. Matt and I are hoping to adopt a child as well. It's a perfect picture of God's outpouring of love for us. I will pray for ya'll because adoption is not for the faint of heart. Through the strength of Christ, you can do all things! May He be glorified.
